About Me

Hi there! I’m Nico ~ an artist, herbalist, activist, organizer, reiki practitioner, and intuitive astrologer based in southern Rhode Island.

Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve been drawn to spirituality to make meaning out of the complexity of existence. In 2010, while I was in college for art and the humanities, I discovered astrology and began immersing myself in this ancient practice. While my college education counted the ways our connection to the sacred was broken, my astrology studies showed me all the ways it could never break.

Astrology is an invaluable tool for accessing the primal wisdom of our soul imprint. A pillar for self-inquiry, astrology puts our lives, patterns, and healing into context, simultaneously connecting us to our essence and shared humanity.

Using astrology as a symbolic, living language, I translate the planetary archetypes into the relevant cultural, societal, social, and personal frameworks to inspire reflection, empowerment, agency, and liberation. While we’re all influenced by circumstances, I believe astrology can help illuminate our choices and fortify free will by reframing our most ingrained beliefs.

In Greek, my first name Nicole means “victory of the people” and my middle name “Lena” means light. Growing up, my family would combine the two names as Nicolena, which I take to mean “victory of the people’s light.” This is my mission in all of my healing offerings — helping to expand your capacity to navigate darkness by strengthening access to your inner light.
