We all have parts of ourselves we struggle to make peace with. Parts we are taught to suppress and reject. Parts that don’t trust ourselves, let alone each other.

To unify with these parts we must be open to their struggle. We must hold space for and extend love to the unknown, the fear-filled, the traumatized.

To feel the true joy in pleasure, beauty, and connection, we must be willing to struggle for what we love.

When we can struggle to unify within ourselves, we can struggle to unify with each other.

We can struggle to build a future in which we secure collective freedom.
